The weather wasn’t the only thing heating up this week, as wedding season came calling with a burst of weddings for our Hog Roast Kenilworth teams to cater for all across the country. Today we would like to highlight just one: the wedding for Harry and Karina Forbes, old customers but newly weds who had Hog Roast Kenilworth for their special wedding buffet.
Harry and Karina have enjoyed our services a couple of times, including for their engagement party last Spring where they then decided to ask us to also do their wedding after they had enjoyed our service so much. Since then we have been working closely with them to put together their perfect wedding dining experience.
One of their first asks was for a canapes and drinks service. This was really important to Harry because he liked the atmosphere that a couple of introductory drinks and light bites could create. He also always really liked the look of a party with staff rotating the room offering platters of food, so of course we set up just that for him! However, once it came to the day with the immense weather we are experiencing Harry and Karina worked with the hotel to be able to move some of the reception outside, meaning our Hog Roast Kenilworth service team also had to quickly adapt to have our foods still moving while fresh outside. Of course we are always adaptable, so this was no issue for our excellent team who took the change in stride.
Dinner was an excellent buffet roast. Having first tried our namesake hog roast at an office Christmas party, it was one of the first things Karina was looking for when they were deciding which caterer to go to. Ours is renowned, and so of course they picked the right choice! Served along with a lamb roast and a vegetarian jackfruit alternative, our buffet consisted of freshly made herb dressed new potatoes or roasted baby potatoes, homemade coleslaw, our seasonal mixed leaves and a tomato and mozzarella salad. Guests were served from the buffet by their Hog Roast Kenilworth servers.
It was an excellent day for all and we would like to wish the newlyweds all the best for the future!
