Martin and his fiancé first met while they were both visiting a Christmas market and happened to bump into each other and start chatting. Three years later, Martin proposed on Christmas eve and Ella said yes! Since Christmas is so important to this couple, it made sense for them to enjoy a festive theme for the wedding, which is taking place this December. The couple are getting married at a beautiful venue in Warwickshire, with a beautiful green and gold festive theme. The Hog Roast Oldbury team has been hired to cater for the reception with our delicious Christmas menu, which includes all of the traditional festive dishes served buffet style. Our catering manager Jon was happy to get involved with this event since it was sure to be a beautiful event and would be the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Oldbury team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 4:00 pm serving time. We began by whole-roasting the turkeys, which are the star of this delicious menu. This method keeps all of the natural juices inside so that every bite is delicious and full of flavour. Additionally, we served pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, glaxed carrots and sprouts, green beans, and homemade gravy, to create a varied and tasty festive buffet. Our catering was a great addition to this event and went down a treat with the guests!
