One of the many perks of being in the catering business is the incredible diversity of events we have the privilege of being part of. Last weekend, Hog Roast Polesworth embarked on an exciting adventure beyond our usual stomping grounds, loading up our catering van and hitting the road to join a comic and toy fair. While this unique event unfolded outside our regular service area, the prospect of sharing our delectable creations with a massive crowd of 500 enthusiasts was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up!
Leading the charge was our seasoned catering manager, Jon, who once again took the helm to ensure a seamless food service experience. The event organiser, Patrick, had a specific vision in mind and requested our BBQ Menu, recognising its ability to provide a diverse and satisfying array of options for the hungry guests.
In the hours leading up to the event, the Hog Roast Polesworth team worked tirelessly, aprons on and grills fired up, to prepare a mouth-watering selection. Handmade beef burgers, gourmet sausages, chicken kebabs, spareribs, veggie burgers, and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers were meticulously crafted to perfection. To complement these savoury delights, we added pasta salad, coleslaw, and mixed fries, creating a menu that promised to satisfy every palate.
As the doors to the event swung open, the venue transformed into a lively, vibrant space. Stalls adorned with collectors’ items, comic books, vintage toys, and engaging raffles captured the attention of attendees, turning the fair into a haven for fans of all ages. Amidst the buzz of excitement, Hog Roast Polesworth’s food stall emerged as a beacon of flavour and convenience.
Guests marvelled at the variety and quality of our offerings, and our food proved to be the perfect companion for an event where mobility was key. Attendees could savour the rich flavours of our BBQ Menu while exploring the fair, making it a delightful day out for all.
