A Festive Hog Roast Feast – Hog Roast Old Milverton

While we’re renowned for our sumptuous hog roasts, for a delicious treat this Christmastime, try our Hog Roast Old Milverton festive menu and we’re sure that you and your guests won’t be disappointed. You can even choose to have our signature dish as part of your menu, with a free-range pig freshly prepared directly at your venue and then slow-roasted over flames for hours on end, served together with our homemade sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, and crackling carved straight off the hog.

Hog Roast Old MilvertonWhether you’re organising a corporate function, family party or something altogether different, our Hog Roast Old Milverton Christmas menu is suitable for all kinds of get-togethers and full of tasty food that will certainly hit the spot, and instead of a hog roast main, you can instead choose to have moist whole-roasted turkeys, served with our stuffing and fresh cranberry sauce.

Whichever meaty main you prefer, in terms of sides, this menu also gives you homemade cauliflower cheese, roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic, pigs in blankets and a seasonal vegetable medley of sprouts, peas, green beans and carrots, all smothered in our homemade gravy, plus you even get a dessert of traditional mince pies and brandy cream. In addition, if needed, we also offer a vegetarian main of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, with several of the sides suitable too, and we can even make the skewers vegan by omitting the cheese.

This festive feast is a clear winner for all kinds of Christmas parties, and for a work party that Hog Roast Old Milverton was asked to cater recently, we wowed the guests with delicious, fresh food that was suitable for everyone invited.

Our team arrived at the venue early in the morning, ready to prepare and cook lots of food in time for lunch. With two mains of a succulent hog roast and our lovely vegetarian option, we cooked up a storm over several hours, but with so much other food too, that many guests had to wait a while before even thinking about digging in to the mince pies! By the time we left, we left many satisfied guests with very full tummies.
