That was certainly the case for our regular local business client, Grant and his consultancy firm, who were coming off the back of a gruelling week and needed a bit of a pick me up to get the energy going in the office again. Grant wanted to say a big thanks to his team for sticking with it over the past while and turning out consistent good results, and so he decided to call in the Hog Roast Polesworth team for a Thursday lunch at the office. The afternoon’s schedule was cleared so that we could simply serve up a great menu of our very best roast foods for the team of 21.
We came in just before 10 so that we would have time to start cooking our hog roast for it to be ready around 2, to then be carved up professionally and dished out to the team in portions as large as they want, since the hog roast itself can typically feed 100 or more. Our hog roast was also served alongside its traditional golden crackling, our own homemade sage and onion stuffing, and homemade apple sauce.
Sound like enough food yet? Well that doesn’t even begin to account for the hordes of herb dressed new potatoes we had ready and roasted, as well as our homemade coleslaw, a slew of bread rolls, and a fresh seasonal mixed salad to brighten up the plate that tad more.
The office team were of course more than happy with their fill, and will probably have enough lunches stocked up from leftovers to cover the rest of this week and next! Talk about a morale boost for the office!
