There’s never a dull moment when you’re a Hog Roast Keresley caterer! With plenty of testimonials to back up our expert cooking skills, we are among Warwickshire’s best-loved hog roasting providers, which means we are always in extremely high demand – especially at this time of the year!
With events and celebrations around every corner, our caterers always have something amazing to look forward to, and last week, we were honoured to lend our services at Eilidh and Brian’s wedding.
Sparing no expense, the couple had organised for their big day to take place at an 18th-century Italianate-style mansion. Set amidst acres upon acres of tranquil frost-touched greenery, this idyllic sandstone radiated luxury and romance, making it the perfect spot for Eilidh and Brian’s all-important celebration – and Hog Roast Keresley wasn’t the only one who thought so!
The sheer majesty of this historic gem had the guests in total awe – and that was just the outside! The inside, which featured traditional decor throughout and vibrant stained glass windows, oozed warmth and class.
While the venue staff ushered the guests through to the ceremony room, where they eagerly awaited the bride’s arrival, Hog Roast Keresley was already in the dining hall, elbow-deep in food prep. Jon, our catering manager, was in charge of the team, and under his guidance, they worked seamlessly to create our Formal Wedding Catering Menu.
After exchanging vows, the couple snuck off for a private photo shoot while Hog Roast Keresley kept the guests entertained with a glass of champagne and a canapé platter. Consisting of roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, pan-seared fillet of beef, smoked Scottish salmon, mini quiche and chicken satay skewers, these bite-sized snacks went down a storm!
The newlyweds soon returned, and everyone cheered them in! Once they had found their seats, it was time for the speeches. After the anecdotes had been shared and the toasts had been made, the Hog Roast Keresley took their queue and began serving the soup starter, which the guests loved.
Next up was the main course. Catering to every appetite, our team had prepared a tantalising hog roast, a succulent turkey dish and vegan BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, which were served alongside a selection of salads, coleslaw and a potato dish.
Hog Roast Keresley’s food was a big hit among the attendees, and before leaving the group to enjoy the rest of their evening, Jon and the team served a dessert buffet, which included cheesecake, chocolate torte and slices of the couple’s wedding cake.
