In May, Hog Roast Cleobury was hired to provide catering for Mr and Mrs Russell’s silver wedding anniversary. The event took place at a beautiful venue in Whitbourne, named Rosemore Grange, and the couple was surrounded by 30 of their close friends and family. Our catering manager Russ was contacted by Debbie, to arrange catering for the event. The menu needed to be a delicious option, with plenty to go around and something for vegetarian guests to enjoy. After browsing the menus that we have on offer, the couple decided on our Classic Hog Roast menu.
On the day of the party, Russ and the Hog Roast Cleobury team arrived at the venue in the afternoon. The meal was set to be served at 19:00, so we began by roasting the hog, which took approximately 5 hours to cook to perfection. Alongside the sliced meat, we also prepared BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a tasty vegetarian alternative. The main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls or wraps, with a gluten-free option available upon request. We also provided a variety of sides, including seasonal vegetables, homemade chips, sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Overall, our menu went down a treat and there was plenty on offer for the guests to enjoy. Our catering went down a treat and was the perfect addition to this event!
