Wedding reception food is one of the most talked about parts of your big day, and you’ll want something that will be ingrained in everyone’s memories for years to come and positively so.
When it came to the wedding food that Hog Roast Snitterfield provided locally at The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club recently, we were asked by Beth Smith, the Wedding and Events Coordinator at the venue, to provide our infamous pigs in buns (that’s hog roast rolls in Hog Roast Snitterfield speak!) and a vegetarian option, too. We’re often asked for alternative or additional options, and one of our most popular choices for vegetarians is our freshly-made veggie kebabs, with vegetables like mushrooms, courgette, mixed peppers and red onion, and we’re often asked to make them with halloumi too.
The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club is a lovely rustic and yet contemporary venue where you can get hitched or hold your reception, or both. For this 
wedding reception meal, we would be serving the food around 8pm, so our team arrived in the afternoon to prepare and then start roasting the hog for hours until crispy and golden, with juicy and tender meat. There’s no rushing a hog roast, so even though the smells and sight of one can be extremely tempting to your guests, we only serve it once it’s been slowly and flawlessly cooked inside and out and it’s rested for a short while.
On this special day in lovely Snitterfield, our team had a great time serving the happy couple and all of their guests, and it’s always a pleasure to do so in our stunning Warwickshire countryside.
