At Hog Roast Warwickshire, we cater for any and all private events. This week, we played host to young Kelsie, and her family, on the day of her christening. We were first contacted by her mother Christine, who had seen a picture of our hog roasts on Facebook, and wanted to try one for herself. She told us about the details of her christening and selected a menu from our range, opting for the Southern Slow Roast Menu, which comes with a choice of three different meats.
It was a drizzly Sunday on the day of the event. Our team arrived at the venue for the celebration, a couple of miles from the church where the service was being held, by mid-morning. We always make sure to arrive nice and early at any event in order to allow enough time for our slow cooking process, as we prepare and cook all our meals from scratch, using only raw, fresh ingredients on site. Today, our serve time was 2pm, so we made sure to arrive by nine to get the meats roasting.
On the menu, Christine had opted for the Creole Pulled Quarter of Spice Lamb, the BBQ Pork Butt and the Cajun Spiced Roast Chickens. For sides, the American classic, Mac and Cheese, a light and refreshing Greek salad, Cajun Spiced Sweet Potato Wedges and the Memphis Crunchy Coleslaw. Our magnificent cuisine was laid out for sixty people, who arrived later in the day. The food was served on high quality disposable cutlery and the tables were laid with real cutlery and napkins. The team from Hog Roast Warwickshire served everyone with a smile and tidied away the empty plates from the tables once they were finished.
After young Kelsie had been accepted into her church, and her family who had joined her were all nice and fed, the team from Hog Roast Warwickshire, tidied away the rest of their mess discreetly and disposed of any of their waste on site.
