Hog Roast Tamworth Delighted Staff At A Corporate Event With Our Festive Feast!

Christmas came early for DB Schenker Ltd’s contract logistics team, who were among the first to taste our Full Festive Menu this year!

Carol, who was in charge of organising the catering on behalf of all 100 staff members, had gotten in touch with us back at the beginning of October to book a tempting menu for a corporate event the company had planned, which went ahead later on in the month. Russ, our catering manager, and the rest of the team here at Hog Roast Tamworth were all too happy to fulfil the client’s request, and after walking her through our numerous menu plans, everyone was in agreement that our Festive Menu would be the perfect way to reward the contract logistics team for all their hard work throughout the past year.

Hog Roast TamworthThe event took place at the nearby Centurion Industrial Park, and Hog Roast Tamworth had spent the entire morning preparing the spread, which was served shortly after midday. The seasonal feast was as magnificent as you would expect; with creamy cauliflower cheese, a medley of glazed sprouts, green beans, peas and carrots, tasty pigs in blankets, roasties, homemade gravy, and, at the centre of it all, our beautifully slow-roasted free-range pig; which boasted a golden outer layer of perfectly crispy crackling along with a soft and tender meaty inside. Our famous sage and onion stuffing was also on the menu, and as always, the flavour was enhanced by the juices from the pork.

As one of the leading and fastest-growing logistics service providers, not just here in the UK but in the entire world, the Schenker Ltd staff always have their hands full, so it was nice for them to have some downtime to enjoy one another’s company before getting back to all the hustle and bustle that their industry involves! The team especially enjoyed the food that Hog Roast Tamworth served, which had something to suit every taste, including the vegetarians who were served our delicious grilled vegetable skewers, followed by our inclusive dessert option of homemade traditional mince pies with warm brandy cream that proved popular with everyone.
