This May, Hog Roast Southam catered for a wonderful event at a garden centre in Warwickshire. Lin, the manager of the garden centre, wanted to host an event that would introduce people to the joys of gardening and how rewarding it can be to grow plants from seeds. She set up various workshops, with plenty of sales and discounts for customers. To attract extra customers, she hired Hog Roast Southam to serve a delicious buffet menu. After looking through our menus, she decided that our classic hog roast would be perfect for the occasion.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Southam team arrived at the garden centre in the morning and began to prepare our dishes. We started by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once the pork was roasted to perfection, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served BBQ-pulled jackfruit and succulent pork sausages to ensure that there was something for every guest to enjoy. The mains were accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a variety of fresh salad dishes, which combined to create a delicious and varied buffet lunch. Our catering was a great addition to the event and the Hog Roast Southam team had a great time learning all about the joys of gardening!
