Summertime is the season of festivals! And with longer days and warmer weather to enjoy, there’s no better time to visit the outdoor jamborees in your local area than right now – plus, you might even be lucky enough to spot Hog Roast Henley-in-Arden while you’re there!
Open-air festivals are one of our favourite things about summertime, and with there being plenty of them, our caterers spend a large part of the summer months busily moving from one of these events to the next. And we’re delighted to say that this year has been no different. In fact, if anything, we’ve been even busier with these functions than we have in previous years!
Most recently, we were asked along to a beer festival by the event organiser, Mitch. The event was a little farther outside our usual stomping grounds than we would usually travel, but our crew had no other events on that weekend, and they couldn’t resist the chance to take part in what they were sure would be a fantastic day – and they were right!
Hundreds of booze enthusiasts had showed up to indulge in the traditional ales and craft beers that were on offer, but alcohol wasn’t the only thing keeping people amused at this event! Rides and bouncy castles were dotted around the venue for the kids to enjoy, as well as candyfloss, popcorn and ice cream stalls. Of course, there were also plenty of food vendors working at this festival, which included our Hog Roast Henley-in-Arden team, who dazzled the crowds with our signature Classic Hog Roast Menu.
The aromatic fragrances of our perfectly-grilled pork was enough to draw in the punters, and once they were face to face with the juicy pig, they couldn’t resist testing it out for themselves. Hog Roast Henley-in-Arden worked quickly to serve everyone a soft and floury roll, packed with tender pulled pork, crackling, stuffing and applesauce, with sides of mixed fries and salad.
The guests really loved what our Hog Roast Henley-in-Arden team had to offer, and they all left our stall feeling full and extremely satisfied.
