The whole team at Hog Roast Fazeley love being part of surprises, so when catering was booked by Marion for a surprise 60th birthday party the team were thrilled. Catering Manager Russ immediately took on the planning and organisation of the team for the event.
The venue was the Progressive Club, Halford Street, Tamworth, which meant that there was plenty of space for the team to set up their equipment and the serving table. As part of the bespoke catering packaged designed by Hog Roast Fazeley, the serving table would be dressed in a high quality table cloth and the team would provide wooden crockery and cutlery, along with disposable napkins for the guests to use.
The menu for the surprise 60th birthday party needed to be fun and diverse, so Catering Manager Russ created a selection of dishes that were just that. The client was thrilled with the idea of a Classic Hog Roast with all the trimmings. But they were even more enamoured of the vegetarian option that Russ from Hog Roast Fazeley supplied: vegetarian sausages with gluten free bread rolls, a selection of tasty sauces and lots of chips.
With a guest list of 60 people it was essential that Catering Manager Russ was ready to serve at the chosen time of 8:30pm. So that he was ready to serve in plenty of time Russ arrived at the venue by 2:30pm, this was because he would prepared and cook everything fresh on site in the hours leading up to the party. The hog was scored and set to sizzle under his watchful eyes as he ensured that all the sauces and sausages were prepared and set out on the serving table in time for the 8:30pm serving time.
The surprise went off without a hitch, and the food was ready to be enjoyed when 8:30pm rolled around. The team from Hog Roast Fazeley were happy with the service they provided and as the event ended they discretely tidied away any rubbish to take away with them, leaving the client free to enjoy the special day
