From corporate hospitality to wedding receptions, milestone birthday parties to engagements, anniversaries and christenings, Hog Roast Coventry provides tasty, homemade food, served with a smile by our professional chef and assistants. We can actually cater any kind of function that you are thinking of organising, and we will work together with you to help you create the menu that will suit all the people you invite. You may have guests with dietary needs, or you may need us to provide alternative options due to varying personal tastes or even additional dishes to make sure that larger appetites are covered on the day of your event. Either way, we always go the extra mile to ensure your menu will be suitable for everyone.
Just yesterday, some of our Hog Roast Coventry team members catered a 50th birthday party with 70 guests invited, where we were asked to cook a traditional centre-piece hog roast for most of the guests, satisfying hunger with our amazing pigs in buns, but we also needed to make sure that a vegetarian and a gluten-free guest were well-fed. When we spoke to the party host, birthday girl Sandra, she was pleased to hear that the gluten-free guest could also enjoy our pigs in buns as we could bring along suitable bread rolls for that person. In term of vegetarian options, we have a long list of possibilities but our veggie skewers always go down a treat. With halloumi chunks and fresh vegetable pieces grilled to perfection, we were sure our skewers would be happily devoured on Sandra’s special day.
On the day of the party, we headed to the venue, Sandra’s friend’s pub, and set up our equipment in the grounds outside. We can actually cater indoors if there’s enough space and ventilation, but on this day we were asked to set up next to the marquee and we got on with preparing and roasting our hog.
Some hours later, our Hog Roast Coventry speciality hog roast was sizzling in its own juices and ready to carve, the skewers were grilling away and we were putting the final touches to all the fixings we needed to make our hog roast rolls, and Sandra and her guests began to arrive.
