Whilst many people chose to get married in the warmer summer months, here at Hog Roast Caldecote we find that winter and autumnal weddings are steadily becoming more and more popular. After all, what is not to love? The stunning scenery this time of year makes a beautiful backdrop for celebrations and often venues are able to offer more competitive prices this time of year, plus you often don’t have to compete with guests planned summer holidays which is always a bonus! First onto roast were the two pigs that would be roasting away throughout the morning in order to ensure they were beautifully succulent come serve time. In addition to this we also prepared golden spit-roasted chickens, a couple of joints of lamb and some burgers and sausages for the children. This was topped off with a fantastic vegetarian option of grilled halloumi and vegetable skewers and we were all good to go…
