Setting off early today and the sun was shinning, always makes you feel better when the sun is out! We had been up really early this morning in prep of today’s event. Heading south and catering for a Christening Sundays are becoming very popular now with Christenings and for twin boys! Upon arrival we met with the Mother and she showed us to the garden and the boys looked adorable in their little robes as they left for the church we started cooking our hog roast Ettington!
Pork and crackling followed by finger buffer of salad, quiche, new potatoes and vegetable skewers. Whilst the meat was cooking we began to set the tables in white linen dressed the chairs and set out the fine white crockery we had brought. The tables were set and then we began on our preparation table to make the side dishes. Our chefs are skilled in what they do and everything is made to utter perfection, years of experience has made us the best. Every dish we serve is fresh only the finest ingredients are ever used and we don’t settle for second best ever.
By time the party came back we were ready to serve the hog roast Ettington, the babies were fast asleep in their pram and unaware of all the fuss that was made of them. Our chef sharpened his knives and began to carve the guests were fascinated watching him carve the meat. Our waitresses placed the meat on the table along with the array of side dishes and the guest were soon tucking into the food. The Grandmother of the twins asked if we were free next week to cater for her as she was hosting a bowling event and was going to prepare the food her self but when she tasted our food and realised the cost she wanted us to do it. What a compliment we thought! And happy to assist she had the menu picked before we left now that is what you call good organising! Another successful hog roast Ettington.
The day went so well and everyone commented on how they had a lovely day and said the food was amazing! On our way home we felt happy knowing again we had successfully completed a good job.
