A menu certainly fit for a king! Hog Roast Bubbenhall delivered an incredible menu for an intimate gathering to celebrate a wedding on Monday. A glorious house and garden welcomed the team as well as friendly hosts and guests! Head chef Russ and his charming assistant Teegan arrived with plenty of time to set up, prepare and serve the food for the 2:30pm serve.
Tim had selected a fine Hog Roast Bubbenhall menu. He and his guests enjoyed a classic whole roasted pig with succulent meat having been slowly roasted on low for 8 hours. Surrounding the pig was tasty sage and onion stuffing that had soaked up the juices and of course the skin had crisped up for the perfect crackling. If the pulled pork wasn’t taking your fancy, lemon infused whole roasted chickens was an alternative, the stuffing complimented the chicken as much as the hog. Butcher sausages were also a meat option, provided by a local family-run company to Hog Roast Bubbenhall that just so happen to have award-winning sausages!
To accompany the meat options, Tim had chosen baby roasted new potatoes, infused with rosemary and garlic, so incredibly nourish and tasteful. Then three summer salads that were welcomed with the sun and heat! Pesto pasta salad, crunchy coleslaw and classic Caesar salad were the options, all freshly prepared on site.
Due to the garden still a work in process, to was quite an awkward set up for Russ and Teegan, however they managed to pull it off. They even had some feathered friends on the other side of the serving tables, chickens.
The delicious menu was thoroughly enjoyed by them all. As the food had been served onto real crockery, the team went around and cleared these swiftly so that the dessert could be organised by the host. The leftovers (not that there was much!) were plattered up for the happy couple to enjoy later.
