A Joint Celebration Hog Roast, Ladbroke.

Last week at we served up a mouth watering Hog Roast near Ladbroke. The event was to celebrate a joint birthday and wedding anniversary. Inside this beautiful room in Ladbroke, there was a fantastic disco, shabby chic styled bar and all topped off with great food!  We had an evening serve time of 8pm and so opted to cook the hog roast Ladbroke offsite to ensure the mouth-watering hog would fall off the bone. So we arrived at the venue at 5:30pm to set up. As well as the tasty hog roast in Ladbroke we served our classic roast potatoes (which were seasoned with garlic and rosemary) our classic homemade coleslaw and and chefs own pasta salad. We also served our great selection of fresh floured batches, sage and onion stuffing that we made using the succulent pork juices and of course our scrumptious apple sauce to garnish your tender meal. As an extra, for the vegetarians, there was a really appetizing mixed vegetable quiche. For this menu, high quality crockery was added to the menu. It was a very beautiful evening, the sun was beaming through the windows, not a single cloud in the sky but a fantastic view of the country fields through the window. On arrival, we went and said hello to the hosts and then after a friendly conversation with them, we got straight to work setting up our serving tables, prepared our salad dishes freshly on site, and of course making sure the lovely hog roast Ladbroke was on display for all to see (We gave the guests a chance to take photos of the Hog Roast before it was carved). As 8pm struck we could hear the patter of feet as the first of the 90 hog roasters arrived with their plate of delicious food. We had a juicy 60kg pig and the 90 hungry guests ate the whole thing! We had handfuls of guests complimenting how fantastic the food was and they were coming up for seconds and even thirds. It was a successful night and it was our pleasure serving a Hog Roast in Ladbroke.
