A Full Wedding Service Thanks To Hog Roast Mickleton

Recently, the Hog Roast Mickleton team were hired by Sophia and Rhys for their beautiful wedding. The had invited 100 guests so it was crucial that the day ran smoothly and all of the food was perfect. The venue chosen by the couple was the Mickleton Hills Farm in Chipping Campden. Firstly, the guests were presented with drinks at the reception which created a lovely atmosphere for the couple’s big day. In addition, the team served some fantastic canapes including handmade gourmet sausages, miniature pizzas, halloumi kebabs and roast beef in Yorkshire puddings which really pleased the guests.

Hog Roast MickletonSecondly, the main course featured the Southern Slow Roast menu which offered a great selection of different meals for the guests and harnessed the great flavours of the southern states of the USA. The menu options included Texan 24 beef brisket, Cajun spiced whole roast chickens, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs. In addition, the Hog Roast Mickleton team’s classic vegetarian option of vegetable wraps which were really enjoyed by the vegetarian guests. These fantastic flavourful meats were served with a variety of sides including Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, seasonal green salad, Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges, skin-on Southern style whole baked potatoes.

The main course was followed by the toasting drinks which were provided by the client. In addition, the beautiful ceremony continued as the amazing wedding cake was revealed and the newly-wed couple cut it ceremoniously into slices. This was then followed by tea and coffee which was enjoyed by the guests. The Hog Roast Mickleton team laid and cleared the tables after each service so that they could ensure everything was perfect for the couple’s big day.

For the evening menu, the couple selected a classic hog roast which was cooked in one of the team’s Hog Master machines and served alongside the traditional sides of crispy crackling, fresh apple sauce and homemade stuffing. A vegetarian option of lightly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers was served with pitta breads. This menu was served to 130 guests and was cooked by the team’s Catering Manager, Russ, who did a fantastic job of the event.
