One Year Wedding Anniversary Party, Hog Roast Backford.

Today, Russ and Ben from Spitting Pig Warwickshire catered for a one-year wedding anniversary party in Hog Roast Backford! We arrive at this stunning Victorian house at 6pm ready to serve the 100 hungry guests at 9pm. We popped up our gazebo and set up two machines’ (One to cook and served the meats and one to cook and served the vegetarian option) and we set up all our serving tables ready to prep all the fresh food.

We served a beautiful cut of slowly roast beef, juicy pork shoulders and tender Cajun chicken as part of the selected menu. To accompany the main, Spitting Pig Warwickshire served a range of different freshly prepared salads like the classic tomato mozzarella salad, homemade coleslaw, green salad and topped off with all the most popular condiments such as apple sauce, horse radish, cranberry sauce and a range of salad oils and sauces. For the vegetarians, we freshly made Halloumi skewers which consisted of peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, courgettes and halloumi cheese. Served with tzakiki sauce and tortilla wraps!

It was a bright and beautiful evening with a clear blue sky and the sun was beaming across the garden!  It was truly a fantastic evening for a party. The hosts had a giant marquee set up with live bands playing all evening, a free bar and much more to entertain the guests. At 8:45pm, we starting calving all the meats ready for service at 9pm! Even before service, we had guests hovering around our area, complementing how good the food smelt and looked! At 9pm, the DJ announced that the food buffet was open. Spitting Pig Warwickshire served all the guests and all the food! By 10pm, the guests had come back for 2nd and 3rd serving until all the food was gone!

We packed down and loaded the van, ready to depart back home before saying a last goodbye to our hosts for the evening. We were pleased to hear that they loved the food and they highly recommend us. Guests were complementing the food all evening which was also very nice to hear! It was a successful evening in Hog Roast Backford and thank you for having us.
