Walton On The Wolds, well… there’s not much I can say about this place, except it is home to a small population of around 250 people, pretty small i would say. Walton on the Wolds was once the location of the first series of Boon, the series used the Tudor house as Boon’s house. Enough said about that, this week’s event was booked at Coteswick Farm next to a little country road, surrounded by fields. We catered for a man who was celebrating his 50th birthday, and what better way to go about it by getting hog roast Walton On The Wolds to cater at you’re event! We prepared a Menu 3 which includes a Spit Roasted Free Range Pig, homemade Sage and Onion stuffing & freshly made Apple Sauce with of course a whole selection of the finest salads and a beautiful Vegetarian Option (see we do think about you vegetarians as well!). Hog roast Walton on the Wolds arrived on site approximately 6 hours before the initial serve time which was about 2.30pm, this gives us enough time to cook the hog roast freshly on site in front of our guests and prepare the food. At this event we catered for about 100 people (that’s nearly half the village!), but despite the numbers everything went really well. The weather was not that brilliant on the day with a lot of rain coming down at night, but lucky for us we had the barn house all to ourselves! With the time near, and people getting hungry, the beautiful smell of the hog roast filled the barn and everybody was dying to get a piece! After we served the food there was plenty for left overs which we carved and placed into tin foil for people to take home or grab seconds. Everything about this event was a brilliant success and hog roast Walton on the Wolds would be delighted to cater for the village again!
