We have a wonderful event that we cannot wait to share with you from this past week at Hog Roast Coventry. This was the kind of event that really reminds us what we got into this business in the first place, as it was truly a labour of love from a daughter to her now 80 year old mother with celebrations brought to life for an all-important milestone birthday.
This was an event put together by Sarah for her mother Judith, who this week celebrated her 80th birthday in style surrounded by friends, family, live music, and of course a bountiful feast from the Hog Roast Coventry team. Sarah had booked out the excellent Stoneleigh Village Hall and dressed the entire venue up to turn it into a prime party spot for her mother Judith. It looked incredible as our team arrived early in the day to start putting the prep together on our signature hog roast. Often the Hog Roast Coventry team will arrive to a venue before its hosts where we’ll do the quiet work ahead of all the hecticness of the event, but there Sarah was for much of the morning getting everything ready ahead of her mum’s arrival too – a real testament to the love shared.
All that work was well worthwhile as the party was rewarded with a lovely sunny afternoon to revel in. That only added to the delight of the day as 80 guests arrived through the afternoon, each excited to celebrate Judith on her 80th. The whole day was also overtured by a brilliant live singer again found and hired by Sarah to make the day even better. With that, the sun, and our stylish hog roast, it was hard not to be in a great mood through the afternoon. The Hog Roast Coventry team can be very happy with our contribution as guests returned again and again to get even more crispy pork and fresh sides, with there still be plenty left to take the party long into the evening even as we packed up and left the festivities as they looked set to just keep on going with no end in sight – and nor should there have been!
