
The centrepiece of the menu was our signature whole roasted pig with golden crackling. Cooked fresh on-site and carved in front of guests, it created a fantastic atmosphere and gave everyone the chance to savour tender pork served with traditional apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing, and a choice of bread rolls and wraps. As always, the Hog Roast Alderminster team made sure there were gluten-free rolls available so that all guests could enjoy the feast.
To complement the hog roast, we served a colourful array of side dishes including tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, and crunchy coleslaw. Guests also had a choice of potato options, from herb-dressed new potatoes to freshly made chips and sweet potato fries, complete with a selection of sauces, salt, and vinegar. The menu was extended with the addition of sizzling sausages and marinated chicken thighs, which proved incredibly popular and added even more variety to the buffet.
At Hog Roast Alderminster, we believe in catering for everyone, so our chefs also prepared homemade vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Options such as grilled vegetable skewers with wraps and dips, or skewers without halloumi for vegans, ensured that every guest felt included and well catered for.
Everything was served buffet-style on wooden disposable crockery with matching cutlery, combining practicality with a smart and eco-friendly presentation. Our team managed service seamlessly throughout the evening, leaving the couple and their guests free to enjoy the celebration without worry.
