Mark turned 50 earlier this month and wanted to celebrate with a delicious meal. Rather than going out to a restaurant, he wanted to do something that would be even more special, so he contacted Hog Roast Bedworth and booked in with our formal dining package. For the venue, he decided to host the meal in the garden of his home in Warwickshire, hiring a long table to seat 25 of his friends and family. Our catering manager Russ was looking forward to catering for this event and he wanted to ensure that Mark’s birthday meal went as smoothly as possible.
The first course of Mark’s birthday meal was a delicious salmon starter. This was perfect for enjoying on a summer afternoon and went down well with the guests. It was also an excellent way to introduce our menu and prepare the guests for an evening of formal dining.
For the main course, the g
uests enjoyed roasted sirloin steaks, accompanied by red wine gravy, roasted potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. This is a delicious and filling main course and was chosen especially for Mark, as he is a big fan of a delicious medium steak!
The dessert course included chocolate torte and summer pudding. Each dish was served with English cream and fresh berries and guests could also enjoy a hot tea or coffee to end the menu. The desserts were prepared individually, and all looked and tasted incredible.
