The glorious weather makes summer the perfect time to explore your local area and enjoy all of the outdoor activities that it has to offer before the dreaded cold and rain returns later in the year. From carnivals and summer fetes to outdoor movie screenings, beer gardens and beyond, trust us when we tell you that there’s plenty to keep you busy enough until then!
Most recently, Hog Roast Coleshill had the pleasure of attending a food and drinks festival close by. The community event, which aimed to introduce Warwickshire locals to a wide range of great-tasting foods and drinks, took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of last week, and our team was delighted to be present on all three days.
The massive event saw vendors from all over the region descend on the open-air venue to take part in the long weekend of indulgence, and those who attended the festivities were very glad to see our Hog Roast Coleshill catering crew among the crowd!
On each day of the event, we presented the hungry guests with our aptly named Classic Hog Roast Menu, which they happily devoured. This timeless feast of crisp crackling, smooth as butter pulled pork, tangy applesauce and soft gluten-free rolls was an instant hit among the attendees, many of whom either returned to our stall for extras or wanted to learn more about the unique cooking method, which our catering manager, Russ, was more than happy to clue them in on!
In addition to Hog Roast Coleshill, there were also many other stands selling fresh-made pizzas, Asian cuisine, and Mexican food, and some even offered patisserie goods. As for the beverages, there were plenty of craft drinks on the go as well as soft drinks for the children. The event organisers had also arranged for a live band to cover the event on each of the days, plus there were fairground rides, raffles and games for everyone to enjoy.
Everyone was in agreement that the event couldn’t have gone better, and Hog Roast Coleshill is happy to have been able to share our passion for hog roasting with so many people in such a short amount of time. We are hoping to see many of them become future clients of ours!
