A fast Lunching with Hog Roast Bridgnorth

The local company Lime Retail decided to treat their 50 staff members to an exciting Hog Roast delivered by Hog Roast Bridgnorth. The charming Bekki greeted catering manager Russ on Tuesday morning to show him where he needed to set up which was right in front of the factory doors, very convenient for the hungry staff!

Hog Roast BridgnorthIt was quite a fast serve for Hog Roast Bridgnorth. It was supposed to last for the lunch hour half 1 to half 2 in the afternoon, however the pig had been demolished within half an hour with many having seconds and more than usual having thirds! It was nice to see that they had saved themselves for the special occasion with many claiming not to have had breakfast so that they could indulge in Hog Roast – who could blame them?! The pig had been roasted for 12 hours at Hog Roast Bridgnorth’s unit, the travel time to get to Lime Retail allowed the meat to rest and for the juices to be absorbed back into the pig. Slowly roasting it on low and allowing a time to rest guarantees the most succulent pulled pork! The crackling was certainly on point with some coming out with take away boxes so that they could nibble on it throughout the afternoon.

Hog Roast Bridgnorth’s local butcher had provided Russ with a 50-kilo pig which is a bigger size than he would usually cater with for 50 people, so he was chuffed that none of it went to waste, and he even managed to save Bekki a small joint to take away with her as a thanks for booking. She was exceedingly pleased about this!

The menu comes with a selection of rolls, Russ usually brings soft white, wholemeal and cheesy. He decided to try tiger rolls with these staff, and they went down really well so that’s something he will be continuing with in the future!

With how well the hog roast went down with the staff, Russ hopes to work with Lime Retail again in the future.
