The latest backdrop for the Hog Roast Cleobury Mortimer event was an unusual one indeed. The catering team worked hard to provide a delicious feast for no less than 100 hungry guests, with a big screen playing horror-comedy Shaun of the Dead behind them. It really was a Hog Roast Cleobury Mortimer, but fortunately the thoroughly planned event went off without a hitch and the team made sure to send a Chef and assistant who were not scared of the film that was blasting in the background as they put together the buffet.
The event organisers worked closely with the Hog Roast Cleobury Mortimer team to put together a menu for the buffet that would provide plenty of choice for the guests. The clients knew that they wanted a Classic Hog Roast, but were happy to take suggestions from the team as to what else to add to their bespoke catering package, so that the menu would be fun, filling and inclusive to all dietary requirements.
Alongside the slow roasted pig with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and apple sauce, there would be a mountain of other delicious dishes. The clients agreed that with such a large guest list (100 people) a variety of potato dishes would need to be available. This was reflected in the menu, the guests could pick between jacket wedges or sweet potato fries, and both are always very popular at Hog Roast Cleobury Mortimer events. In a twist, especially for this event as the clients requested it, the guests would be able to have whichever potato option they wanted loaded up with cheese and flakes of the hog roast if they so desired.
So that there was a tasty vegetarian alternative for those of a heavily plant-based diet, the team also included grilled vegetable wraps on the menu. There would also be an assortment of dips and spaces to go with the wraps, so that there was plenty of flavour and choice.
After the movie had ended and the guests all slowly dispersed the Chef and assistant quickly worked to pack away their equipment and gather the rubbish from the event, this included the paper crockery and plastic cutlery that the guests had used, so that it might all be disposed of safely and sensibly.
