We’ve all seen weddings go horribly wrong at the hands of shoddy caterers. From serving cold and bland food to not showing up at all – there are plenty of frightful stories that newlyweds have shared on disaster forums across the internet, but luckily for our clients, the team at Hog Roast Polesworth are proud to offer a solution to these nightmarish caterers. With years of experience of providing exceptional customer service and delicious food at competitive rates that fit all wedding styles and budgets – our team is second to none when it comes to providing brides and grooms with the wedding of their dreams.
While planning their nuptials, loved-up couple John and Shelly stumbled across the Hog Roast Polesworth website and wasted no time in getting in contact with our customer service team who were more than happy to answer all of their questions. After outlining their main requirements, the pair were introduced to catering manager Russ who quickly recommended our very popular Wedding Menu 2, a package which includes a mouth-watering buffet as well as canapes and reception drinks to be served directly to guests by our friendly front of house staff and waitresses.
Months of planning flew in and before anyone knew it, the big day had arrived. In the late afternoon, after exchanging vows, John, Shelley and their 63 guests made their way the idyllic reception venue of the former 18th-century Georgian coaching inn, Sorrel House, where the Hog Roast Polesworth team were already busy cooking up a storm. Welcome drinks and canapes of smoked salmon, haloumi kebabs, a selection of mini Indian snacks and chicken satay were served to arriving guests while the bride and groom posed for photographs.
John and Shelley were grateful to be able to relax and enjoy their first moments as a married couple while the catering team took care of the rest. We’re also happy to say that the pair were even more impressed when Russ presented them with the main course buffet of succulent whole roasted pig with crispy crackling, locally sourced free-range whole roasted chickens, roast potatoes, mixed salad, homemade gourmet coleslaw salad and the chefs own pasta salad – which went down well with all of the guests!
