Hog Roast Banbury three course wedding menu!

You may be surprised to learn that despite the name, Hog Roast Banbury are so much more than just hog roasts! Whatever your event may be, our team of professional chefs will work with you to create your own bespoke menus when required or help you choose from the many different set menus we offer. In addition to cooking delicious, mouth watering hog roasts we can also slow or spit roast any type of meat as well as fully catering to any vegetarians or vegans amongst other dietary requirements. Hog Roast BanburyThis weekend we were out and about catering a wedding at the Old Farm House in Hanwell village. This quaint location had been booked by the bride and groom to be for the reception for around sixty people. Catering manager Russ had been instructed to prepare our classic wedding menu four for this event.

This menu begins with your choice of canapés served to your guests upon arrival. Today’s canapés, which hand been handmade in the morning, were smoked salmon on fresh brown bread, mini quiche with a variety of fillings, pecking duck wraps with a honey and mustard glaze and finally a selection of mini Indian snacks.

For the main menu, we would be serving up our slow roasted hog with apple sauce, stuffing and crispy crackling in addition to a whole roasted salmon option. For the vegetarians Russ prepared Grilled Vegetable And Haloumi Skewers, Served with Pitta Breads and a Tzatziki Dip. This was all accompanied by our speciality tomato and mozzarella salad, crunchy coleslaw and baby roasted potatoes.

We finished the evening by serving up our Hog Roast Banbury deserts of a tangy fruit salad and some chocolate profiteroles- delicious!
