But that’s not all. We can also serve up a barbecue of burgers, gourmet sausages and ribs, cook specially-marinated meats alongside several side dishes, serve multiple courses or even have waiters serve drinks and canapés to your guests on arrival. And it doesn’t stop there either! Here at Hog Roast Kenilworth, we’re more than aware that some of your guests may have dietary needs, and that’s why we have a whole array of options available, and as long as we know in advance of your function, our chefs will whip up something tasty and suitable fresh on the day.

We recently catered Lily’s 21st birthday party, where her parents had asked us for a simple albeit highly scrumptious menu of our delectable pigs in buns, made from a local hog. Additionally, they needed a plant-based option, which seems to be extremely popular these days. Slightly different to vegan, a plant-based diet is all about eating unrefined, unprocessed food, including vegetables, fruit, beans, seeds, and nuts, and for Lily’s party, two lucky guests would get to enjoy our veggie skewers, which we usually serve to vegetarians. In this case, however, we would need to leave out the halloumi cheese, and instead just grill the fresh mushrooms, baby tomatoes, yellow and red peppers, red onion and courgette, which we would serve with a yummy veggie marinade.

On the day of Lily’s special party, our team set up our equipment at the boutique hotel venue, outside in the lovely gardens, and prepared and cooked a fabulous traditional hog centrepiece from fresh, which sizzled away for five hours. By the time the meat was resting, the skewers were grilled to perfection and we just had to prepare the pigs in buns ingredients as the guests queued up for a Hog Roast Kenilworth slice of heaven.
