Hog Roast Grimsby love to do big! And they don’t come much bigger than the event for Edutrade Humber Limited where we were delighted to be asked to cater for 800 people in Grimsby auditorium at a large event for the organisation. To cater for this number of guests clearly needs a lot of organising and co-ordination so that the catering service runs smoothly and we liaised very closely with Gavin and Carina at Edutrade who organised the event to determine exactly what their requirements were.
We have a varied range of menus available for all events that we cater for; corporate, private, charity, weddings etc. suitable for very informal event to china plated, sit down, 
formal functions. After carefully discussing with the client, we understood that there would be a high volume of guests and agreed that ten of our staff would serve with four of the organisation’s staff also serving and helping, and that we would need three pigs to serve the volume of hog rolls that would be required. Hog Roast Grimsby know that there are many good caterers out there but flexibility is one of the key ingredients to our success alongside delicious, high quality food and outstanding service; it’s these things that separate us from the competition and makes clients come back to us time after time. We always strive to adapt and tailor our menus and service for any client, no matter how big or small the service may be.
We needed to arrive in plenty of time to get the three little piggies roasting and when we arrived, we liaised with the client to determine best process for loading and setting up and confirmed the arrangements. Once we started the roast, the smell inside the auditorium was incredible and created lots of interest from the guests with mouths watering, ready to eat. Once we started serving, the guests were not disappointed and the pigs were demolished in a spectacularly short time! The whole event was a success from start to finish and Hog Roast Grimsby were proud to be part of it.
