40th Birthday Hog Roast in Allesley.

Today at Spitting Pig, we catered for a great 40th birthday bash in Allesley. We had a serve time of 8:30pm and so arrived promptly at 6:30pm to set up our 3X3 metre gazebo, serving tables and the tasty three meat banquet! The party was to celebrate Jim’s 40th birthday with 40 guests! As we arrived, Russ and Dan noticed a bouncy inflatable bar which was set up to provide drinks for the guests. It was a shock to the guys at Spitting Pig Warwickshire as they’d never seen anything like that before! Head chef Russ thought it was a bouncy castle!

After saying a friendly hello to the hosts, we cracked on with preparing all the dishes, fresh on site using high quality ingredients. We served our classic tomato and mozzarella salad which we dressed with fresh basil, olive oil and black pepper. A really tasty pasta salad, fresh green salad and delicious coleslaw were all part of this menu too!

Spitting Pig Warwickshire served a beautiful cut of slowly roast beef, marinated in Budweiser Barbecue Sauce and seasoned with salt and pepper, and topped off with horse radish! Tender pork and stuffing batches served with apple sauce and crispy salted crackling, and to top the banquet off, a fresh leg of lamb seasoned with mint and rosemary, and served with mint sauce! All the meats were that tender; it was like cutting butter with a warm knife.

At 8:00pm, we carved all the meats ready for the 40 hungry guests who would be arriving at the buffet table at 8:30pm! The guests loved the amazing food on offer and there was a great number of compliments which was great to hear! It was great serving a Hog Roast in Allesley. And Happy Birthday Jim!
