Ella and her partner have been looking for the perfect house to buy for nearly a year, so it felt even more exciting when they finally had an offer accepted on their first home together. The pair were both moving out of their parent’s home, so the moving process was set to be doubly stressful and hectic, with a lot of help needed from friends and family. Once they had unpacked and started to feel more settled, Ella began planning a housewarming party to thank everyone for their hard work during the move. The party would also be a great way to showcase their new home and to show their guests how busy they have been with the renovating and redecorating. Ella hired Hog Roast Bulkington to cater for the occasion after trying our menu at a wedding earlier this year. She loved our catering and knew that our team would be perfect for the housewarming party!
When the day of the party arrived, the Hog Roast Bulkington team got to Ella’s home in the morning and set up our catering station in the garden. We began our prep by slow-roasting the hog, which needed around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, which helped to create the perfect buffet menu for the party!
