Slowly getting round to all the post wedding admin!
We were so impressed with The Spitting Pig Co. - the whole service was brilliantly organised and the team are clearly very experienced, beforehand and on the day.
The food was exceptional and we had a lot of people comment on the quality of the pork and stuffing in particular. The set up in the gazebo was great, situated just outside our marquee and it did withstand a bit of rain that evening too! A couple of friends there were actually chefs locally and both made a point of saying how impressed they were with the hog roast. We were lucky enough to have a few portions left over which made the most enjoyable meals after our honeymoon. Honestly, that stuffing is the best we have ever tasted!
We would highly recommend The Spitting Pig to anyone 🙂

The food was amazing! Everyone loved it and commented on how nice it was! Lots of people had seconds and there was still some left at the end! The batches were fresh and the sauces such as the homemade apple sauce was lovely! I think there were other sauces too but I didn’t try them but people commented. The vegetarian food went down well too!
Service was also very good, he was very polite and cheerful!
My partner has high expectations for food anywhere we go and he loved it! (Which says it all for me) he had no complaints. But not a huge deal. He said it was spot on!
Thanks so much for providing good quality food! There were lots of full and satisfied bellies on Sunday.

I cannot praise your company enough from the initial enquiry, the preparation, the service & tidying up & your personnel. You made my celebration, as it was hassle free & I could totally relax.
Russ who I think is based in Warwickshire was the catering manager who we met at the end of the event. The staff attending were Gary & Ellis who were very professional, pleasant, friendly & polite & did a fabulous job in serving the hog, the trimmings & all the salads.
We were blessed with a lovely day too.

We would like to send a massive thank you to the two guys who came and served food for us on Saturday 6th August. I never did catch their names! They were organised and professional, and gave us amazing service. They waited for the speeches to be over before leaving so as not to disturb us and they tidied everything before they left. They packaged up our leftovers, and were so discreet that we barely noticed them doing any of this amazing work!
After discovering our daughter loves cherry tomatoes, they made a little foil parcel of tomatoes for her, which was just the kindest, most generous touch. Please pass our thanks to them.
On top of this, the food was amazing. All of our guests were happy, and we're still enjoying leftovers today.

This was a success from our point of view, the guys arrived in good time to set up, everyone enjoyed themselves, the food was great and plenty for everyone, with leftovers that were promptly sorted into 'doggy bags' although I think it was all destined to be enjoyed by the owners rather than their pets!
Even the pigs head was taken home by one of our workers who was born in Thailand and she says it is a great delicacy and she and her husband would have it for their supper.
The two lads who did all the serving were friendly and very helpful.
We were lucky with the weather so all in all a perfect event.

It was the best we’ve ever tasted!
The meat was so succulent - cooked to absolute perfection.
The salads were lovely and fresh and the halloumi and sausage alternatives were excellent too.
Adding the sweet potato and standard chips gave everyone an all-round meal.

Russ was the chef for the event.
The event was for my Husbands funeral, that was a celebration of life.
The whole process of ordering the food to it being served was so easy and so well supported. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. Russ spoke with the venue and organised everything.
When we arrived the food was ready to go. It was all so delicious and well served. Russ was so polite and couldn't do enough to make it go smoothly and ensure that everyone had what they wanted. Hot, delicious and served on wooden plates.
We had a hog roast, sausages, chips, halloumi and vegetable skewers.
It was all wonderful. Thank you so much to you all.

Spitting Pig Warwickshire did a fabulous buffet for an event we hosted last week - at very short notice too. Food was great quality and plentiful, at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again for all our catering requirements going forward!

We wanted to treat our extended ‘bubble’ to a great meal over the Easter bank holiday weekend and Spitting Pig did not disappoint. They helped us celebrate being able to finally meet up (albeit only in our garden) after months apart! The food was fabulous and the service was great all for a price we were really happy with.
When lockdown finally ends, we fully plan on using you guys to cater a big family reunion - or something like that!

We received so many compliments about the food at our wedding. Although I didn't get the opportunity to try everything we had what I did have was excellent. Catering Manager and his staff are all so nice and circuitous. I would highly recommend them for any event !

Thank you so much for your email. I called your office yesterday and wanted to let you know how happy we were with everything you guys provided for us on Saturday. Everyone was punctual, polite and so helpful and the food was amazing, I believe we even had some guests going back for 3rd and 4th’s!! The only disappointment was that our MD left it too late to go and grab something to eat and it was all gone but that was his problem

Our wedding was a huge success, thank you. We just managed to get the last of the good weather before things turned cold and wet.
A hog roast from Spitting Pig was one of the highlights. Our guests arrived at the reception venue from the ceremony to the smell of slowly roasting pork, which kept everyone’s attention until serving time after the speeches. We received lots of compliments from guests for the quality of food and service. Our vegetarians were delighted with the grilled halloumi skewers. There was more than enough food to go around, but the leftovers were all consumed before we packed up at the end of the evening. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely be contacting you for future events. Thank you for providing the perfect meal for a perfect day.

Your customer service prior to the event was excellent. Constant updates by email and phone is very reassuring. Thank you.
On the day, the meat was delivered by Russ, a very pleasant man, even after carrying a rather heavy piece of meat from his van in pitch dark over a muddy field!!!!
The meat, stuffing and rolls were absolutely delicious. Our guests all commented that they had never had such fantastic pork. Despite being very hearty eaters, we only managed to eat half the meat on the night. The day after, two couples left with enough pork for their family Sunday lunches. Those of us who stayed on Sunday night had the pork with barbeque sauce and wraps, salad and rice.
Alas there was some meat remaining when we left on Monday morning which we had to dispose of.
In summary we are delighted with the service and quality of the whole experience. It would be our pleasure to highly recommend Spitting Pig. Well done all and thanks again

With apologies for the delay in responding, I’d just like to say the team that came and looked after us were amazing. They were challenged a little by the weather, but their spirits weren’t dampened. The quality of the food, portion size, crockery and cutlery were all excellent and added to my garden party immeasurably. They looked after us without intrusion, everything was prompt and as agreed, the clearing up was discreet and they left the garden as neat and tidy as before. The very friendly and professional team turned up, set up, served up and cleared up in a matter of hours. Everyone was served fast, the food was DELICIOUS and the place was left immaculate. We had a large launch of our Alpha groups in Coventry Vineyard and had the Spitting Pig Co. to cater. This was the first time we had hired a hog roast and found that the guys were amazing! They were so helpful and understanding, especially when our numbers changed. I found that the information prior to the event – the quick response to my emails, and the phone calls to check on last minute details, really made me feel that this is a professional service that is customer orientated.

Yes, we had a wonderful party on 19th July and the hog roast was delicious. Russ and the rest of the Spitting Pig staff were so efficient, friendly and helpful and even put up with our border terrier staying glued to their sides for most of the day. The pig, which was cooked on site, was the best we’ve tasted in a long while and we couldn’t be more pleased. I’d recommend Spitting Pig Warwickshire to anyone.
